Fun in the Sun!

During our first week of camp we learned all about the sun. We learned that the sun is a very large star that provides us with daylight and heat. We then discussed how to protect ourselves from the sun by wearing sunblock, sunglasses, hats or use an umbrella to provide shade. During the week we all talked about our favorite summer activity. At the end of the week, we all drew pictures to illustrate our favorite summertime activity that will be put into a class book.

Welcome to Summer Camp!

Dear Families,

        Welcome to our very first summer camp at the Maywood Cooperative Nursery School!   We are very excited to have our first group of children participate in this program!  Our program consists of five themed weeks.  Our themes are Fun in the Sun!, Ocean Commotion, Dinosaur Detectives, It’s a Jungle Out There!, and Hawaiian Luau.  Please see our Weekly Themes Page on this website to see when we will be doing each of these. 

        On our website you will also find a  Daily Schedule Page and aCamp Procedure Page.  Please read everything thoroughly to be aware of all of our policies.  Our drop off time begins at 8:30 AM and all children must be picked up by 12:30PM.  If at any time during the summer you would like to contact me, I am available before 9 AM or after 12:30PM.  I can also be reached by email at mskristy10@gmail.com  We look forward to seeing you and your children on Tuesday, July 10th!
